Release Info
This ode to the Head games played in the dating game had two versions: the smooth production debut of Ras Kass on the remix, and DJ RHETTMATIC's tribute to Main Source "Looking at the Front Door" on the album version. The remix proved to be a favorite for DJ Melo D getting many spins on Los Angeles primetime major radio.
"Reconcentrated," KeyKool's lyrical masterpiece on the incarceration of Japanese in America during World War II received much critical acclaim by the music and scholastic world alike. Loaded with political ammunition acquired through studying under UCLA's Professor Yuji Ichioka, (a pioneer in the field of Asian American History), incorporated with Key's personal family history, "Reconcentrated" has become a powerful tool to teach the youth through hip-hop. "Reconcentrated" has been used in the classrooms of various high schools to prestigious Universities such as UCLA, NYU, UC Berkeley, Cal Poly Pomona, and Loyola Chicago to name a few.
